Seen (2017) — Photo Gallery

Portrait Series, Washington DC.

To be seen is to be celebrated.

Honoring women of color — their presence, power, and individuality. Created on my college campus, Seen began from moments of curiosity and admiration: women I noticed in passing, reached out to, and invited to be photographed.

Each portrait captures quiet strength and self-expression, celebrating the beauty of being witnessed just as you are. It’s about seeing and being seen — artist to subject, woman to woman. These images are a reminder that to be seen is to be valued — and to see others is an act of love.

We see each other, and that’s enough.
